What is Medicare Supplement Plan (Medigap)?
Medicare supplement, also known as Medigap, works together with Original Medicare. This helps pay some of the healthcare cost that Medicare doesn’t fully cover for example; deductibles, coinsurances, copayments and certain out-of-pocket medical expenses.
So, how does a Medicare Supplement Plan work?
Medicare Supplement Plan will generally cover the remaining 20% that Original Medicare does not cover. After Original Medicare pays its portion, depending on the plan selected, the plan will cover almost all of the remaining medical cost.
