What is Medicare Advantage (Part C)?
Medicare Advantage, also known as Part C, is offered by various private insurance companies that have been approved by Medicare. Medicare Advantage is an alternative to Original Medicare.
These plans combine what are Medicare Part A; hospital Insurance, Part B; Medical Insurance and most include Prescription Drug plans; Part D into one easy-to-use plan and usually provide extra benefits that Original Medicare doesn’t cover.
